Human Soft is bringing a complete training philosophy to the halls of Gitex. The training provider, which is operating two stands in hall six, New Horizons and Human Soft, is attempting to deliver fully rounded educational solutions that focus not just on certification, but on a range of other vital communication and soft skills.

“Training is just subject based and all though that might make a good systems engineer in practice, there are also many other elements to that which are not included,” explains Fahad Al Othman, chief executive officer, Human Soft.

“There are other important aspects that companies’ want their engineers to have – time management, professional orientation [and] English language. There is a difference between the skills that people can gain in training and the quality orientation that many companies want,” he adds.

In an effort to provide the all round training experience, Human Soft operates a number of subsidiaries that deliver different aspects of human resources solutions portfolio. For instance, New Horizons offers a range of courses split into three areas – e-learning, applications and technical training.

Another subsidiary, Human Soft e-learning, focuses on the sales, marketing and Arabisation of material from the company’s international partner, Thompson Netg.

“There is lots happening in the e-learning market, we’re seeing more companies willing to invest,” says Al Othman. “We just signed a significant deal with Dubai E-Government to supply our content to their employees online,” he adds.
