Forbes Middle East celebrated HumanSoft Holding as one of the most successful companies in Kuwait for 2017 in an event organized at JW Marriott for the second consecutive year. Chairman of the Board of Directors at HumanSoft Mr. Tarek Al Othman received the awarded during the event held under the patronage of Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah.

The award honors the company for 20 years of contributing to economic development in Kuwait and the GCC region. Despite being one of the richest countries in the region, Kuwait has managed to successfully diversify its economy and poured vast investments in the infrastructure, transportation and finance sectors. HumanSoft Holding, and a few other private companies celebrated in the event, had been essential to the development of these sectors.

In the early 1990s, HumanSoft started off as New Horizons, a training and education center specialized in information technology. Ten years of recurrent successes transformed the company into the number one education partner for international IT companies in the Middle East. HumanSoft expertise and management saw fast development and the company soon became a leader in the education sector, empowering individuals with knowledge and allowing them access to a new job market.

In 2008, and with the growing demand for quality higher education in the region, HumanSoft launched the American University of the Middle East (AUM) and the American College of the Middle East (ACM). AUM is now considered the biggest among private universities in Kuwait, and is among top ranked universities in the region offering majors in engineering and business that cater successfully and efficiently to the needs of the local market.
